Absolutely stunning new track from SoCal’s Anenon, this track is everything I want music to be. It invokes emotion, executes an aesthetic beautifully, and triggers memories. For me, those three components are at the pinnacle of the music pyramid. I’ve always looked at music as a lot more than just some notes on paper, and I feel like it’s easy to forget what music should be about because a lot of times an artist’s message in mainstream pop music is extremely direct. Acquiescence is a reminder not to forget what Brian has done so well here. “Acquiescene” is taken from an EP of the same name, which is a “companion piece” to producer Brian Simon’s forthcoming Inner Hue LP:
