IT’S TRICKY [video]

No Comments tumblr

Ian shot this rare live preformance of Andrew W.K. and DMC of RUN DMC preforming It’s Tricky at the Williamsburg Watefront at Brooklyns’ Final Jelly Pool Party of 2010. The original music video shot for this song was before my time, but for those of you that are interested in a hit of nostalgia, I’m sure you will dig this, especially all of you New Yorkers out there.

LATE NIGHT JAMS

Merging 60s disco vibes and now-age samples is Lay Bac, whose vocals emerge from the background in the form of an echoing reverb. The combination of the two is what he refers to as Ghost Disco. His new track Stay Out Tonight is an instant late night disco gem to blast at those 3 A.M. parties.

You can download his other releases here, which include a split with Foxes In Fiction and a 10 track lo-fi spaced out beach themed release called OOO KOKOMO.

The below video is a quick lesson on how to win a disco dance off thanks to Apollo’s Pad

GONE TO SEA

For those of you that know me know that I am obsessed with all things related to the ocean, hence why I am studying Ocean Engineering. Jamie Harley is known for his visual work and has curated a video for A Classic Educations’ track, Gone To Sea, featuring an abundance of footage of the ocean and some of the people who inhabit the tropics of which the footage is of.
