A COMPILATION FOR JAPAN

4 Comments Compilations, audio

For the last few months or so I’ve been collecting exclusive songs to put on a compilation to benefit Japan. The way I decided to do this one is give away all the songs for free, and make a limited number of handmade packages to purchase for $10 plus shipping. My very talented friends Kaleb Durocher and Michelle Chrzanowski put together 36 beautiful packages. Each one is different, but revolves around the central motif of the Japanese flag. The concept of my compilations have always been a donation first, compilation second. Normally when you donate to a charity you don’t get anything physical in return, so with some initiative on my part I’ve given you some motivation to do so, because you’ll be getting something really cool for your donation. If you buy a compilation, your $10 will be donated to Architecture for Humanity, which is a charity that focuses on rebuilding Japan’s infrastructure through professional design. This is a charity that keeps their administrative costs low by reaching from a pool of roughly 40,000 designers willing to submit their expertise.

Great work on the comp! I noticed that the files in the download were in different formats and didn’t have the right tags / naming, so I cleaned them up. I also took the image you have above and made it into a square cover art in case people want that.

    I uploaded it here: http://www.multiupload.com/BQ1S8GV75E

Keep up the great work. I’m ordering my copy now!
