Friendship Bracelet is right, Beer on the Rug is killing it in the “fuzzy older stuff” region and in general I feel like. Personally, I really like the slow-jam build up to the more upbeat tracks, it really makes me appreciate the album as a whole. It’s a short listen, so it’s kind of easy to just lay on your bed, vibe out, let these tracks run through. In addition, this album reminds me of when Ian Perlman and I visited the music video exhibit at MoMa, which consisted of a lot of old music videos that match the aesthetic of this music. The photo used for this post was taken of Ian at this very exhibit.
