An old friend from high school got in touch with me about a project he put together creating soundscapes. Robin Hewson combines layers of textured sounds to create a basis for drone. His tracks move forward as if they were a cold wind meandering between the trees of a forest, and occasional vocals hidden between the layers send messages as whispers to those who journey through.
