I always associate Atlanta’s Soft Powers as a band that can meld a multitude of different influences into their music and make it sound good. If you check out their pretty expansive Bandcamp page and listen to their albums you’ll see they cover a fair range of different sounds. The ability to cover this large range of music and do it well truly stems from pure creative talent. These newer jams remind me of some kind of dark side to Radiohead’s Kid A record.
